What do vegans eat as a complete replacement of vitamins and minerals to milk?

Milk is a food strictly 'baby' and begin to lose the enzymes that digest after age 20 resulting in the slow, excess mucus in our bodies and some people develop an intolerance. A good alternative is soy milk fortified with added calcium and iron. Also the rice milk or oatmeal and walnuts, is delicious. If you want to cut the cow sheep and goat milk can be a more palatable alternative. Even cows alone unless ingested in large quantities can not provide all the calcium they need, especially adolescents, pregnant women and women facing middle age. (Between 19-50 years of age need 1,000 mg per day.) A calcium supplement with added vit D is a good idea and you will notice the benefits within a month on the strength of nails. If you do not want to take supplements, sun provides vitamin D, which in turn helps absorb calcium from food. rich in calcium, magnesium and zinc (which are the main nutrients found in dairy) foods include leafy vegetables green, broccoli, beans, kale, bok choy, mustard and turnip greens.Bread, kidney, lentils, sesame paste, oranges, almonds, baked beans, tofu, and vegan "cheese." dried apricots and figs are good and have a lot of old iron. Bananas and artichokes have a lot of magnesium, which bones need as well as nuts and seeds. vegan foods contain zinc include yeast, peanuts, beans and whole grains cereals, brown rice, wholemeal bread, potatoes and yogurt vegan. Of all these vegetarian foods zinc, pumpkin seeds provide one of the most concentrated food sources outside the zinc meat. Be aware that foods containing oxalates or phytates, however, interfere with the body's ability to absorb calcium.You can find a list of these in the network and include things such as tea, coffee chocolate and so many vegans use carob and herbal teas instead.
