Adolescents: How old were no longer receive the "kiddy" things of the places?
You know how certain things and places are offered for children. Like kiddy meals and children's menus in restaurants, for example. When I was a vegetarian, every time you go to a restaurant FF My mom always order the children's menu. In regular restaurants that basically forced to eat children's menus, however, since I was usually with my aunt and she only let me eat a child. Apart from that .. I do not remember ever going to places with special children. Oh wait, never responded to my question .. I would to say .. Eleven? I stopped going to restaurants around eleven, so my fault.
Psh. I'm almost 16 and still the order of a children's menu sometimes!

Breakfast Cereals - When, Where and How it Started
Breakfast cereals are a frequently served morning meal. It is being marketed for all ages as a substitute for a heavy meal prior to starting the day. It's a ready to eat food commonly mixed with milk and for some, sugar, in order to enhance its flavor.
Body: A hundred fifty years ago American's have breakfast that are usually made up of meats like the ones heavy on the pork. These breakfast menus do not possess fiber. With the long term consumption of these kinds of food, a wide spread disease inside the stomach known as gastric disorder became prevalent.
This paved the way for the cereal to be invented. Its invention became a reality in the year 1863 by a certain James Caleb Jackson. Jackson is a known constant vegetarian who lived in Battle Creek Michigan, US. He initially called these cereals as "Granula". During Jackson's time, the task of making cereals was a long and tedious process. The preparation took so much time. This is due to the fact that the so-called "bran" needs to be soaked in water overnight until it is tender and ready to eat.
Hence, in the year 1877, it was improved by John Harvey Kellogg, who created the crushed cornmeal, along with oats and wheat. At that time, this was for his patient who is so anguished from bowel difficulty. He also made this for his other patients who suffered from severe constipation.
Then, John's brother, Will Kellogg, later developed his invention by creating the now popular "corn flakes". It is this man who owns the popular Kellogg Company and who continues the legacy of manufacturing corn flakes worldwide. With the establishment of the company during Will Kellogg's time, corn flakes and other cereals was formally introduce in public in the year 1906.
During the 1930's, Kellogg's breakfast cereal main target were the younger generation, particularly the kids. This is why they added sugar as their main ingredient. Soon, they came up with mascots in order to attract the attention of more kids. Their mascots would include: Tony the Tiger, Trix Rabbit and Rice Krispies elves.
The manufacturing of these breakfast cereals was soon followed and enriched by different companies such as the:
• Quaker Oats Company - They are the ones who initially introduced the hot cereal, either cooked in a pan or just by adding hot water. This is best with milk and sugar, along with variants of flavors like chocolate and strawberry. Aside from that, they also sell Oatmeal Squares, Quisp, Cap'N Crunch and Mother's Natural Food. It has become popular in the market these days.
• Nestle Company - They are the ones who manufactured the so-called Cookie Flakes, Fruitful Shredded Wheat and Fitness Honey and Nut.
• General Mills - They are the ones who created the Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Golden Graham.
• Malt-O-Meal - They are the ones who made numerous products such as the Apple Zings, Cinnamon Toasters, Colossal Crunch, Fruity Dyno-Bites, Raisin Bran, Strawberry Cream Mini Spooners and many more.
Moreover, cereals are a member of the grass plant group that has starchy seeds as it main ingredient. It is a suitable and nutritious food, which is typically made from corn, wheat, oats, barley, rice and rye.
Cereals are also a major source of energy which can provide about 350 kcal per 100 grams. Cereal proteins are also usually feeble in its nutritional property due to the undersupply of essential amino acids and lysine. The corn's proteins are mostly poor, lacking in lysine and tryptophan. Unlike rice proteins, it is richer in lysine as compared to other ordinary cereal proteins. Furthermore, it is believed to be healthier. It is also a good source of vitamin B, mainly of Thiamine.
Hence, most dietitians would recommend a whole grain cereal for a person who is suffering from diabetes. For those who want to lose weight because it is a good source of fiber, this is best served hot and mixed with fresh or dried fruits, raisins and nuts.
Furthermore, breakfast cereals are extremely popular to children of this time. This is due to the fact that cereals these days, particularly the ones for kids, are especially made with various flavors and are usually designed with advertised characters. This acts as a promotional agenda so that kids will enjoy their meal while eating. Cereals are typically served with fresh milk.
Thus, at current, breakfast is not complete without having cereals. It is a healthy habit to practice having this, in order to get the necessary nutritional components needed to go through the entire day. This is also the reason behind David Roth and Richard Bacher's idea of putting up a restaurant they called CEREALITY Cereal Bar and Cafe.
In this café, customers can select their favorite brands and toppings inside their cereal box. This establishment customizes the design of cereals and they sell this with a so-called "takeout bucket". Their toppings are also composed of malted milk balls, nuts and fruits. Consumers can also select from smoothies, custom-made parfaits and a variety of coffee and tea ingredients. This establishment is now open in different parts of the US and is still open for franchising.
