Where I can find some herbal recipes-good?
I do not consider myself a vegan or vegetarian ... but I am addressing this increasingly way. I have not had milk or small amounts of milk over a year because I'm nursing a child who is allergic to casein. The more I looked at things that do not plan to return to the milk of animals and cut meat and most animal products from my diet. Anyway, I'm looking for some recipe ideas more for food of plant origin. I make them often, but I want more variety. I do not want to introduce a ton oo use soy meat substitutes. Only whole foods cool. If anyone has any good websites with recipes or know of any good vegan (no milk will be negotiable for those that work best) cookbooks please let me know!
While I have the recipe, eggplant parmesan (with or without Parmesan cheese) is delicious. Not herbal, but I found a recipe on the back of the tub humus: 1 cup each of mashed chickpeas, mushrooms, onions, red peppers. 1 / 2 pound of pasta. Cook pasta and drain. Saute vegetables. Drain excess moisture. Add hummus with sautéed vegetables at the same time (just to heat the mashed chickpeas). Mix all and chill. Recently tried this with a spicy hummus was delicious.
