Is it OK to wear a black dress to a wedding?
I always thought not, because it is a funeral color, it would be as if in mourning for the wedding. My mom, who generally trust in the arcane rules of fashion, says otherwise. Who is right? Also, what is your opinion on red? Can I wear a red dress for a wedding (assuming no fire is red pleather, or anything obviously bad quality-it seems that)?
Personally, I never wear a black dress to a wedding. Normally I wear pastel colors to avoid colliding with the bride and her dress does not surpass in his day. I personally do not wear red or if I was going to the wedding itself, but it would be good for reception.
