Belted up in the Latest fashion
There are so many options when we look at the fashion world. And some of us are just simple and can just deal with the skinny jean and cute boots combo and call it a day. But sometimes that can get tiring and we want to spice it up. We don't want a huge drastic change but we want something that can stand out and make the whole outfit look great and different with just one nifty touch. Now this can be done with a handful of accessories but one accessory that is not only essential to a woman's wardrobe is the belt.
The belt was generally used to keep one's trousers up. But now it can be used for that as well as a sweet and expressive fashion statement. With old jeans, fitted jeans and even skinny jeans the right type of belt can add style. Two types of belts that are high in fashion at the moment now is high waist belt and the low waist belt. Both can be worn and look great but both create two different styles and can make different statements for any style.
With high waist belts you can have a number of different styles. One is when it can be worn with a long shirt that with jean and a nice pair of heels. The belt cuts the outfit in half and adds a nice balance. Celebs like Jessica Alba and Britney Spears get away with this look all the time. And it's just simple accessory fix. You can go casual or play dress up for a special event. This wearing a bohemian looking shirt that has a nice flow to it toward the bottom with a high waist belt would look great as well. You want that loose look so that not only can it flow but it's a nice way to differentiate your style and look. This look also gives it the feel that you are wearing two separate items. With a really long distinctive shirt or sweater dress you can allow you sweater. The belt can make it look like a matching top and bottom. But this look is to provide style and individuality. Belts also are used to add spunk and spice just by hanging low on your waist
With the belts it sometimes can be hard to come by something that is just for you so of course it's good to go to places that has a variety of options like Forever 21, Styles for Less, Macy's and even Victoria Secret. There are plenty of different stores that carry belts for hanging low or around your waist as opposed to the high waist belts. With low hanging belts its good to know you can have a thick, as in width, belt or a skinny belt. This way you can differentiate your look. You can go for a skinny black belt or something that is has rhinestones for a punk rocker look or something that is shinny. Pair this off with a nice top that isn't so shimmery, or a nice graphic T-shirt and you have a look that can be worn several times in different ways. But leather material belts or pleather or something similar material belts can made out of scarves.
Having silk scarves for a belt or scarves period, are great. You can find these at just about any store and at womensclothingtoday.com. Silk isn't as expensive as you would think. They are also a great way to show your curves and slim down your waist line. Silk scarves are should be considered as well not only for they're nice and smooth texture but because the color stands out, so wearing solid colors with a solid color silk scarf would be perfect. Painted silk scarves are also essential in that they can be belts or used as hand bag accessories. Jazz up your outfits with this simple accessory and never go wrong.
